Our Grade 4s have recently learnt about Living Things in NST, and their STEM Projects were an excellent opportunity for the Grade 4s to enjoy using science inquiry, design, engineering and mathematics skills to create something fun and exciting! #oakhillza #thejoyoflearning

There has been much excitement over the past month as we have watched our pool project slowly but surely take shape! The new deeper swimming pool on campus will meet water polo requirements and allow us to host more home games. Watch this space! #oakhillza

This year we will be filming the IP play - The 33 Little Pigs - against our new green screen, with the pre-production, directing, editing and post-production all done "in-house" using Chromebooks. Watch this space! #oakhillza #thejoyofdrama

Our beautiful OSC is also currently undergoing a facelift! In addition to the improved bike track, the upgrade includes the construction of multi-purpose courts for tennis and netball, a dam for water harvesting, and additional sports storage and tech areas. #oakhillza

On Friday our Little Oaks & Foundation Phase pupils enjoyed a mini Olympics at our OSC, with mini golf, ball dribbling, long jump, sack races, obstacle courses, tug of war, long jump and an egg and spoon race! Much laughter and excitement all round :) #oakhillza #thejoyoflearning

Our Grade 5s had the privilege of meeting elephants at the Knysna Elephant Park yesterday! This is always a favourite outing for our Prep school children, and a moving memory that remains with them forever. #oakhillza #thejoyoflearning

Our Grade 7s were thrilled to visit Kilzer’s Kitchen yesterday, as they were unable to do this last year due to Covid. The Kilzers perfectly imparted their knowledge to the eager boys and girls, who delighted in making a delicious three-course meal! #oakhillza #thejoyoflearning

Our swimming pool upgrade is coming along beautifully, and we are so excited to show students when we return to campus next week! During the last few days of Term 2, there was much excitement as children and adults watched concrete being poured to the new upgraded pool structure.
