Mrs. Herrington’s 1st Grade Class got to visit the EAST Classroom today! They did an awesome job completing the coding activities!

Today, the STEM Lab was buzzing with excitement as students delved into the world of science and exploration. The star of the show? Oobleck – the mysterious substance that behaves like both a liquid and a solid.

Congratulations to the newest members of OSTEM’s 100% Club!  They have each reached 100% math fact fluency on REFLEX Math!  This brings our total number of members to 65 students!  Way to go!

Hunter's Feeding the Hungry in partnership with the Hot Springs Community Foundation provided meat sticks for the OSTEM's weekend food program. Thank you for providing this nutritious treat for our students.

Mrs Love’s Class was so happy to welcome Mrs. Crawford for a STEM lesson on light and literacy ❤️ as we begin to create our own shadow puppet shows! Thank you for coming Mrs. Crawford and doing such a great job for us as always!

EAST Student, Eden, did an awesome job presenting her Project to 2nd graders! She did greetings, taught, a brain break, reviewed, had students restate what they had learned and then lead a discussion about ways to show Respect HOME and SCHOOL! #iheartckh #eastinitiative

We are very proud of Ryder Hall, an EAST at Oaklawn STEM student, for having been selected as a member of the EASTcon24 Leadership Team! He attended an intensive two day retreat in February and has been helping facilitate the conference this week! Way to go Ryder!!! #eastcon24
