A 32-year-old driver was arrested on Quarry Road, Oban at 5am after testing positive for cannabis and cocaine. Separately, a 24-year-old man was found with cannabis in Corran Brae at around 4am. Reports are being submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

A 17-year-old from Glasgow was stopped in Connel yesterday attempting to bring heroin and cocaine into Oban. He was charged with possessing controlled drugs with intent to supply. A report is being submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and officers are liaising with social workers.
