The RAF Air Cadets is one huge family so last night the Boss and AS1(T) Watson were delighted to support Essex Wing ATC with a tour of Voyager and AirTanker during their RAF Brize Norton camp. A great visit with awesome cadets and volunteers asking superb questions. #noordinaryhobby

Great to host Kent Wing Air Cadets who joined us last night from their RAF Brize Norton summer camp for some tag rugby (tks Try Tag Rugby Thames Valley) and a Trangia cook-off to see who could prepare the best Pea risotto. Lots of water and laughter! Well done to victorious team from Kent. 🥳🥳

On Tues evening we welcomed the Mayor Witney Town Council to the Sqn to meet Cdts and learn about the work of 2120 in the community. The Mayor inspected the Cdts before taking part in lessons, presenting badges and a RAF Brize Norton AirTanker service instructor commendation. TY 🙂

2120 had a full church parade in Witney before joining other Sector 2 Sqns to mark the King’s Coronation and VE Day. We paraded at the grave of Sir Winston Churchill under the watchful eyes of AVM Brecht & veterans b4 enjoying a RAF BBMF Lancaster fly past! #GSTK #coronation

Today marks #ArmedForcesDay, on which we pay tribute and give thanks to all who serve in our forces, and their families that support them too. It was an honour to be joined by some of Witney’s magnificent Air Cadets, and Wg. Cdr. Dan Woollard, to raise the flag yesterday.
