I organised QC Bash LAN in Australia earlier this year, tried contacting ZeRo4 and Quake Champions for official support and was ignored for months. We ran it anyway, and still to this day there was no recognition for our event. Liquipedia has a page for it though :)

It’s disappointing that Quake Champions doesn’t have a realistic gateway for ASPAC players to enter the Quake Pro League. For years we’ve tried to reach out and have been ignored. Instead we’ve cultivated our own competitive scene so our players still have something to play for.
