It was a pleasure to be at the Rushcliffe Dementia & Carers Roadshow this week. As you can see from the smile on our Liv's face - it was great to speak to people at varying stages of their dementia journeys and highlight the benefits of group programmes such as Forget Me Notts.

It has been a month since the Nottingham 10k and we wanted to say thanks to our partners & supporters who donned the blue shirt to run and raise money for the TBCT. Such as Simon Winiarski here, a Director with our sponsors Russell Scanlan Ltd. Simon completed the race in 52:30 👏

Our week at the TBCT included a landmark first Aquafit session for our Notts in Mind group at Cotgrave Leisure Centre. It was exciting to try something different - we would thoroughly recommend! If you want to give it a go yourself, here are some session times 👇

Some of our Forget Me Notts members had the chance to get their own back on group leader Liv last week when she donned the punch pads! We have introduced Boxercise as a regular activity at our sessions as we aim to find different ways to encourage our members to keep moving!

Our Notts In Mind programme at Cotgrave Leisure centre was featured on Notts TV earlier this year. The sessions happen weekly on Thursdays from 10.30am-12pm, and our new group at the Lenton Centre takes place 1.30pm-3pm on Tuesdays. ✉️ [email protected]

Our Notts In Mind group are growing in confidence with their belly dancing ahead of their performance at the Council House in July. Thanks to Tina Carter in combination with When Women Gather for leading the sessions which continue on 19th June and 3rd July. Watch ⬇️
