Melissa and Kezia host 4 undergraduate students for the WiSC chemistry lab day. Had fun looking at single enzyme molecules using a fluorescence microscope and our own hair using the scanning electron microscope!

Congrats to our undergraduate research thesis students Shriya and Diego! And presenting their work today 💪 We’re excited to cheer them on as Shriya continues to graduate school and Diego starts work as an analyst.

Wrapped up a fantastic BSC conference! Super impressed by the organization and research by ChemBioPhys @ UofT. Jared and Melissa got to share some of single-molecule and materials work! We will be back next year!

Two days in and I am buzzing with new ideas from the Bioanalytical Sensors GRC!

What an amazing week at GRC bioanalytical sensors. Thank you Charlie Mace for the invite to speak at an awesome patient-centric session. Spirit of the GRC unlocked - I was inspired by cutting-edge work and have new ideas, collaborations, and really great friends moving forward.

So happy to have Melissa, Jared, and Ruben join the GRS and GRC as well! And we were having such a good time we forgot a group photo! But all of us had some downtime to enjoy with friends.
