Last week, I had the opportunity to tour Vistra’s Washington Energy Facility natural gas power plant in Beverly, Ohio. It was great to see how this Ohio company contributes to improving our energy reliability and supports the local community.

Today, I had the privilege of speaking at the Ohio Credit Union League luncheon. I always appreciate the opportunity to discuss the work we’re doing in the Treasurer’s office and how we can partner together to improve the lives of Ohioans.

Our office is proud to continue partnering with Ohio State - CFAES to broaden the impact of their #RealMoneyRealWorld financial literacy program. Through interactive, hands-on activities, we’re empowering youth with the knowledge and skills they need to create a strong financial future.

Today I was honored to speak at the Toledo Chamber Capitol Conversations event in Columbus. It was great to connect with local leaders and discuss opportunities for strengthening our economy and communities. I look forward to continuing to work together to drive positive change.

#OMAP continues to be a powerful financial tool for local governments looking to reduce costs on important community projects. In April, we partnered with one first-time and six long-standing participants to help drive down expenses, resulting in more than $78,000 in savings.
