A great start to the Art of Playwriting, participants had opportunities to share, discuss and talk about plays! They explored plays that had an impact on them and explored examples of tiny plays to spark ideas! Looking forward to continue the writing process on Thursday!

Day 2 in Fishamble: The New Play Company for the Art of Playwriting! Participants did a scene study of some published plays, explored characters, text and sub-text, all to help to inspire and spark their own creativity when writing their own tiny play!

Green Fingers at Coolamber House 🌿 Exploring organic gardening ... natural fertiliser, sowing seeds, growing vegetables, plant/flower selection & brewing & drinking soothing chamomile tea. A day rooted in learning & sustainability with clear applications to any classroom.

Day 2 The Magic of Musicals @GaietySchool beginning with voice warm-up, then onto rehearsing song and dance routine from Sister Act. Our fantastic participants are exploring how musicals combine song, dance, dialogue to tell stories. Fun, practical, experiential learning! 🎭🎼

Day 3 of our Art of Playwriting workshop with Fishamble: The New Play Company focused on writing, redrafting and editing our tiny plays! Our playwrights were given time and space to create, be inspired by others, share their work and celebrate the learning! Lots of inspiration for the classroom 🎭

Day 1 of The Art of Bronze Casting and teachers are already deep in creative process - exploring form, texture and the theme “Traces of Place”. Sparks of imagination before sparks of bronze!

Glorious sunshine and superb collaboration as participants get hands on with micro-pond building, seed harvesting, wildflower planting and wellbeing at Wildacres Nature Reserve. We are "Buzzing with Biodiverslty" in Wicklow today. 🪻🌻🌿

Bronze was poured, moulds were cracked, and creativity was cast! 🔥 The Art of Bronze Casting wrapped yesterday after three unforgettable days of hands-on exploration. Huge thanks to all the teachers who took part - and to sculptor Mick Wilkins for his generous guidance

Today for our dance and movement workshop with Danae Wollen -participants had lots of opportunities to develop their creative moves through physical warm-up skills,  learning to use acro dance techniques and worked together to create a choreographed movement piece for performance

Our Creative Moves participants explored levels in movement, travelling through space and used improvisation to build choreography skills to create layers, textures and movement. Worked together to create a group performance piece using pose, movement and sculpture.

Entrances and Exits workshop today @Draiocht. Oide Creativity with facilitators from @YouthTheatreIRL, participants experienced approaches to devising theatre and creating characters through exploring 7 stages of tension.
