Today we embark on a 10 day adventure to Texas to do all things earth science! First stop Palo Duro Canyon for some hiking and geology. 21stCenturyAcademies #ONTeach

Today we went to Palo Duro Canyon, the second largest canyon in the US. The students learned about the geology of the canyon and got to do a little exploring. We also got to see some pretty cool wildlife today. But we couldn’t leave Amarillo without stopping at the Cadillac Ranch

Friday and Saturday were spent at Space Center Houston The students heard from Astronaut Hans Schlegel. Then they built model rockets, learn coding on robots and also designed a heat shield to keep their cargo safe. Then time to hit the sack under the stars in the exhibit halls.

Today the students did a beach cleanup at North Padre National Seashore. Working together they cleaned up over 65 pounds of trash off the beach!
