Great discussions at tonight's #Climate Book Club! Next month's book is "From What Is to What If" by Bob Hopkins. A real antidote to dystopia, and full of inspiring ideas! We'll be meeting on Tues June 6th at 7pm. (Please note this is a re-post as the previous date was wrong!)

We have our last repair café on this Saturday before we close for our summer build: crowdfunder.co.uk/p/olbuild23 No garment repair this time, but we'll still have repairers happy to look at your small electricals! The café will open alongside for you to enjoy a coffee whilst you wait!

We loved having the #RepairCafé back today and seeing so many familiar and new faces! We started keeping track of the environmental impact of our sessions on our website, really looking forward to pushing those numbers up! theoldlibrary.org.uk/repaircafe/ #ClimateAction

What a great #GrowingWithNature session led by Sara Venn 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ she/her from IncrEdibleBristol. We learned about #ecosystems, soil and much more, and got to connect with other community growing projects in the area. Thanks to UWE Engineering our Future & the MAKERS project for making it possible!

The The Old Library & Re_Thrindle put on a great "Upcycle your Garment" session last night! Community members and UWE Bristol students learned how to re-style & alter unworn clothes into something new. This is part of the Royal Academy of Engineering funded repair and making focused MAKERS project.
