Good news today that our study of #wildlifetrade on the #darkweb has been published: besjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/pa… The work led by Oliver Stringham uncovered 153 sp. of plants, animals & fungi for sale. Surface web & social media are still primary avenues for wildlife trade.

#wildlifetrade on the dark web currently serves a niche market for drug use. With open web prevention measures increasing, monitoring the dark web is critical for detecting new trade trends or movements towards it. Congrats Oliver Stringham and team. doi.org/10.1002/pan3.1…
