Hope to offer more details about non-CASE opportunities linked to One Virology in the new year, meanwhile check out the CASE studentships on offer.

Thanks to Toshana Foster and Janet Daly for organising the first event of Bridging Virology across the Midlands, with the help of Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research, Merck, Thermo Fisher and Novogene Europe. Great opportunity to collaborate and find out what's going on with our neighbouring scientists😎

One Virology member Aditi Borkar is on tour!

One of our members Dani Vaughan has started dabbling in structural biology. The Wellcome and Medical Research Council funded Cryo-EM course University of Leeds was fabulous. Keep an eye out for any microscopy courses - astbury.leeds.ac.uk

Congratulations Hope Leverett on passing her PhD viva with minor corrections and thanks to Simon Scott and Alex Tarr for giving her a run for her money (see the time!)

The University of Nottingham biological sciences summer school for undergraduates from under-represented backgrounds interested in pursuing a PhD is now open for applications including a One Virology -related project: check the link below

Another One Virology PhD student successfully through their PhD viva with minor corrections - Fin Old, pictured with primary supervisor Toshana Foster and examiners John Barr and Chris Coleman.
