Today Operation "Bloom & Doom" was a go. Turns out, even Mother Nature outranks me now! I’m out there digging trenches, and thinking ‘Yeah, the only thing I’m storming now is this rose bush'...🤷‍♂️

Out here at the she-shed, I'm wrestling 9-foot power poles for a covered patio like I'm in a one-man dogfight with my own bad decisions! My back’s screaming for a DD-214 and a chiropractor, muttering, 'You need a psych eval, not a hammer!' Should’ve called in reinforcements 🤷‍♂️

Hey fellow Vets! Today I’m busier than Elon on Mother’s Day! The she-shed is slowly becoming a she-vila... Didn’t finish the roof on the covered patio but I’ve made some progress. 🤔 Apparently I have traded my DD-214 for a DIY-2025...26, 27...🤷‍♂️

Morning Vets! Today's cardio is brought by the Mountain Scythe; guaranteed to keep you swinging through the toughest PT sessions! Some experience required & runs on beer and crunch. I just grab my scythe, channel my inner Schwarzesnagger, & mow down that morning weed formation!

Main reason I'm using a scythe to tackle tall grass: gotta keep my turtle buddies safe! Last year, I accidentally gave this little guy a rough haircut (sorry), but look at him now; rocking that battle scar like a champ! Glad to see my turtle pal survived my lawn-mowing mayhem.

Did the math for a 4' retaining wall, then build a 6' wall...which handles 11,000 lbs more pressure! Forgot to carry the 1 on that hydrostatic calc, and now my wall’s auditioning for the Grand Canyon. Moral of the story: math is hard, but walls crumble harder! #EngineeringOops

Rainy days & DIYs; I'm juggling 3.1415 projects (🤓 joke), & today’s drizzle is begging me to start one more... I’m want to showcase the stone columns...I’ll channel my inner Tetris champ, cut stones into rectangles, & stack ‘em up with no grout line. Let's build something y'all!

Fellow Vets; my nemesis (6' ret wall). Forgot about hydrostatic pressure & nearly 😱 it. Built 2 buttresses but only boosted strength by 40%. Now I’m adding anchors for a 300%+ increase. Moral? Never skip your anchors: they’re the real MVPs! Stay strong, brothers & sisters!

Fellow vets, I've spent a lot of time building the perfect she-shed for my wife, but the summer heat said, "Not today!" It was 86⁰F in there. Ordered an EG4 solar AC & saved the day; it works either straight from the solar panels (no batteries) or commercial power. Great gizmo!
