Let me clear a few things up. Hambino is right they have not updated their engine. PUBG runs on UE 4.16.3, which is nearly 8 years old. Not only that, the version of the engine they use was customized. In 2016, when PUBG was being developed, UE was not designed for open world

I'm really proud of what our small scrappy content team has been able to produce so far in 2024. I feel like this year has been a lot of learning and building the foundation for what's next.
