Back for another day of #ICFUST, the world's first 222nm conference. Here on behalf of OSLUV, where we are still somehow shadow banned. Want to help me out, please head to OSLUV and give us a follow and like and help trigger Twitter to let us out. Let's go..

Wow! What a great poster session at #AAAR23 where Aaron Collins got to present the latest on the OpenCPC. This isn't just all theoretical though, if you look close you can see the first OpenCPC in the wild, quietly measuring away.

It's not everyday you get to hang out with a bunch of other aerosol nerds, and it's a lot of fun to talk the nitty gritty of particle counters at #AAAR23 . It's also fun to do show and tell with the real thing, along with all the parts. #opensourcehardware is the future!

Almost 2 years ago (Dec 27, 2021) - I sent Aaron Collins an email suggesting that we develop an open source condensation particle counter (CPC) to enable low cost and accessible air quality monitoring and quantitative fit testing for all. He said yes and we founded OpenAeros.

It’s been a long road but we are so excited to share our progress on the world’s first open source, low-cost, condensation particle counter! What is it and why should you care? Aaron Collins explains why this CPC is a BFD. youtu.be/OxQSAvvOpw4

Excited to update everyone on OpenRespirator. First step was to build the tools to make a mask. We developed a toolset which allows prototyping in silicone and co-molded plastic for $30 with one time capital of $4K, and of course all open-source! youtu.be/2BCotdFDuuc

Cool to see the OpenRespirator, and D2S tech we have been developing, get a some traction in the maker space. Thanks hackaday for the write-up! hackaday.com/2024/09/04/mul…
