How can the EU claim that it's good at regulation when we still have cookie warnings? If they wanted to create an ad campaign to convince everyone they were bad at regulation, they couldn't do better.

Academia can only fulfill its role if it can generate knowledge, but also make that knowledge digestable to everyday citizens. That’s what is meant by Open Science. 1️⃣ Accessible information. 2️⃣ Understandable information.

We need scientists who can effectively communicate science to a big audience. Writing hit pieces on them with dubious anecdotal evidence does not help. Andrew D. Huberman, Ph.D. does a great job at explaining complex neuroscience to everyday people, and we need more of it.
