Did somebody say summer term?! Children in reception have been hard at work looking after the nature garden and growing vegetables! Look at the brilliant signs they have made too, “Don’t touch the radish” 🌳🌿🌸🥕

Next week Monday 16th to Friday 20th May from 3 to 3:30 come and have a look at our book fair! Every book you buy earns rewards for our school.

Reception have had an out of this world experience over the last two weeks! They landed in the Orchard Space Station and have been researching and discovering facts all about our solar system ever since! Keep your eyes peeled for what they have learnt 👩🏽‍🚀🌎⭐️🪐🌑

On Wednesdays Reception explored space even further in a VR experience! Look at some of the fantastic facts and writing they have produced since. They landed back earth-side today ready for Jubilee preparations next week!

We had a fantastic morning at St Lawrence CE (A) School celebrating the Queens jubilee, thank you for having us! What a brilliant concert with each year singing a song to mark each decade of her reign, followed by a picnic. We hope you continue to enjoy celebrations during half term! 👑🇬🇧 ☀️

We have had a lovely week welcoming our new reception starters into their classrooms for September! We look forward to seeing lots of them again today for their Teddy Bears Picnic 🧸

Today we say goodbye or more fittingly Au Revoir to Mrs Cary who has been at St Lawrence for 12 years and 8 years as Deputy Head. She is not moving far - just down the road to The Orchard to become their new Headteacher. We will miss her and we wish her well. She will be great.
