Congratulations to Lisa Wagar for winning the The National Centre for the 3Rs International 3Rs prize for her tonsil organoid model. Looking forward to the prize event where Lisa and other winners, Alex Frangi and Ali Sarrami-Fouroushani share their work. nc3rs.org.uk/events/3rs-pri…

An interesting one for organ-chip researchers. The Animal Free Research Conference has a call for abstracts: AnimalFreeResearchUK animalfreeresearchuk.org/conference/

📢Call for participants: RSPCA's Replacement Research Project! 🐁Are you a biosciences student or an ASPA-regulated animal researcher? Contribute to our study on social and cultural factors affecting non-animal methods in research 📩Get in touch at [email protected]

Great start to the QMUL Centre for Predictive in vitro Models (CPM) Organ-on-a-Chip Technologies Network annual symposium Blizard Institute. Fantastic turnout and really good discussion of organ-on-a-chip models.

We had a brilliant afternoon last Wednesday for the annual QMUL Centre for Predictive in vitro Models (CPM) Organ-on-a-Chip Technologies Network symposium. Approx 170 organ-on-a-chip researchers from across the UK descended on Blizard Institute (some of them online, or we would have needed a bigger auditorium!). cpm.qmul.ac.uk/events/4632/qm…

Great to see organ-chip technology in the new UKRI Emerging Technology report. This comments how organ-chips could 'revolutionise clinical trial design and deliver a new wave of treatments and interventions, improving global health outcomes' ukri.org/wp-content/upl… Organ-on-a-Chip Technologies Network

Podcast covering cancer research, animal replacement, technological and medical advances, and my personal motivations for pursuing a career in these areas Blizard Institute Barts and The London, Queen Mary. Thank you Carla Owen AnimalFreeResearchUK for the invitation! #animalfreelabcast #kinderscience

Are you an in vivo researcher able to help the RSPCA - Animals in Science with this project?? Get in touch with them directly to find out more and contribute.

Wondering if organ-on-a-chip technology can help you with research 🔬 or drug discovery?💊 Check out my overview for Technology Networks of the key advantages and latest advances in the field, and feel free to sign up to the Organ-on-a-Chip Technologies Network Network and QMUL Centre for Predictive in vitro Models (CPM) technologynetworks.com/cell-science/a…
