Last week Oscar spent nearly €9k on the funeral of a special member, family bills, play therapy, a food delivery for bereaved parents, lunch out, a computer server for a tech savvy member, spending money for a day out, a necklace, book vouchers and accommodation costs.

We’re so saddened to announce the passing of another Oscar’s Kids member, the wonderful Evan, at the age of 15. He deserved the world and he has made a mark forever on it and on all the people who love him. Our love and strength to Lorraine, John, Shauna and all who love him💛

Please give a big warm welcome to our new member Clódagh! Beautiful Clódagh is 6 from Cork and was diagnosed with DIPG last year. She loves Disney and princesses so Oscar sent her and her amazing family on a very special trip this week to Disneyland Paris 💛

Last week Oscar spent over €20,000 on his families for holidays here and abroad, play therapy, food costs, bills, toys and Easter eggs! This isn’t something we can do often but when our families need us we always try and show up 💛

Last week Oscar spent over €11,000 on our families and organised an extended stay in Dublin for treatment, a hand casting session at home, a special recliner chair for a member at home, a holiday to Malaga, Disneyland Paris, Amber Springs Hotel, Lego, vouchers and flowers 💛

Our amazing member Faye died over the weekend. This family have faced the unimaginable loss of Faye’s only sibling, her twin Aimee, in 2022 and Dad Peter in October. We hope they are all together now again. We will do everything we can to support Mam Lorna in her grief now 💛

What a special pampering morning with some of our wonderful bereaved Mammies (and Teddy who dropped in to take the picture with us)! Blowdrys, nails, massages, makeup and all important chats were had with the loveliest group of women you could meet 💛

Last week Oscar spent over €10k 💛 He bought furniture for one of our special families, booked Disneyland Paris, booked a match in Portugal and booked a Fota Wildlife Park VIP experience. He gave funds to a new member (every family gets €500 when they join) and bought loads of toys!

Tymur and his Mammy have moved recently and needed help with furniture, so Oscar was thrilled to help and we ordered everything they asked for 💛 DIY expert Tymur has been busy assembling everything and sent us pics of his work yesterday…what a great fella!!💪🏼

All love and luck is so appreciated for our amazing member Sophie who has travelled to Glasgow with her family and today starts 10 days of chemo and radiation ahead of a bone marrow transplant. It’s a big and scary time but you’ve got this Sophie 💪🏼💛

After two weeks in hospital getting intense chemo and CAR-T Cell therapy, Oscar’s Kids member Alex got to go home! Look how happy his adoring dog Teddy is to see him 🤗

Sophie is in Glasgow for a few months receiving treatment after relapsing last February, just 1 week from the end of treatment 💔 This week she had a Bone Marrow Transplant and her big brother Dylan, who is only 14, was the hero donor! Keep them all in your thoughts please 💛

Please give a big welcome to our new member Martha who was diagnosed with ALL Leukaemia in October and has gone through a tough time with treatment. For a welcome gift, we started with her favourite thing, Frozen toys, and she’s also heading to @kildarevillage shopping today! 💛

All good wishes are so appreciated for Leon who sadly didn’t get good results on his bone marrow test and who now has to start a 4th cycle of treatment. His Nintendo Switch 2 from Oscar just arrived and his Mammy said it’s given him a much needed boost 💛
