We love seeing the things students are doing in schools all across the KC region. SM School District's Youth Equity Steward program hosted a panel for educators about belonging and how the students are working to build a culture of inclusivity in their schools!

Community is such a big part of public education. High schoolers in Independence School District took action to better their community by participating in a Missouri River Cleanup! We love to see it.

In HvilleSchools, students participated in mock interviews with employers who are actively searching for new hires in a wide array of industries. Some high school seniors participated in real interviews that could lead to job offers!

In Fort Osage, it's not just athletes who have a Signing Day. Their Career and Technology Center celebrated its second Signing Day recognizing students who have been employed before graduation or enrolled in higher education in STEM fields!

Our KC-area schools teach tangible skills! Elementary students in Center 58 Schools learned how to create a quilt from start to finish. They came up with their designs, tie dyed their squares, and learned how to sew them together. What an awesome experience!

We love seeing all of the ways that our kids are set up for success after another year of hard work! All of the Grandview C-4 School District welding program graduates earned their welding certifications to be able to step right into high-paying careers!

We love seeing the learning and growth taking place year-round across the KC region! Summer school students in Knob Noster Schools have been reading, engaging in fun learning activities and celebrating their achievements!

So cool: Blue Springs Schools high school students in the summer Crime Scene Investigation class had the opportunity to explore various elements of CSI. Students earned hands-on experience investigating actual cases with the help of real-world professionals in the field!

Love it! Belton School District #124 brought in a few of its high school driver’s education students to teach elementary students all about safe scooter and bike riding. Thanks to the Missouri Department of Transportation, the Smart Riders: Smart Town clinic was a success!

We love seeing how our schools keep the learning going year-round! Hickman Mills C-1 School District middle schoolers spent their time in summer school designing covers for their favorite books, using math to figure out mass production like true entrepreneurs, visiting T&L Welding, and so much more.

It’s so cool seeing all of the ways that our schools show up for our kids. NKC Schools hosted Books on Wheels together with community partners, where students hopped on a bus with over 400 books to choose from to take home during summer school. What an awesome event!
