President Douglas Mwonzora is now addressing the gathering. This is an emotional address for him because his mother is Matabeleland South in Filabusi. So he feels greatly attached to Matabeleland.

The President applauds the Women of Matabeleland for their commitment to the MDC-T.

The women used the event to ask the President questions and he has responded on a wide range of issues including candidate selection. The President is ready to travel and meet the women in Mat North.

President Mwonzora also took time to meet journalists and respond to their questions.
