I don’t normally like needle drops but I thought this was one brilliant lol

With all due respect Aaron, saying we need honest reviews when you’ve spent the last year & a half twisting every single thing about this movie into a negative & then surprisingly saying the movie was bad, is the opposite of what I see as an honest review.

Watching #Superman again today to get a better idea of how I feel about this movie!

100% agree with this. Gunn loves to undercut serious moments with humour. Instead of letting a really powerful & intense moment play out between Superman & Luthor, he instead forces in a jokey moment that really should never happen.

I won’t lie, after seeing that small glimpse of her, I am not looking forward to her movie. She seems like a really annoying & obnoxious character.

Loved this scene. Almost everything with Superman & Luthor was awesome. Wish we had more of it.

Okay so after my second viewing of Superman, I liked some things more & disliked some other things more. Slight spoilers ahead. The humour worked less for me. That final moment with Krypto & Luthor annoyed me because it’s a typical Gunn moment where he can’t handle too many

“Read the comic” No I’m a movie fan lol. I watch movies. If it doesn’t look good to me in the movie then that is what matters. If the Supergirl film is great then I’m happy but I’m not gonna judge this scene based on a comic. I’ll judge it based on what they show me on screen.

Yeah barely anything was a surprise unfortunately. Really cool moments but had no major impact in the film purely because everything was shown in the trailers.

Me too. I need more time with just the Superman crew before we see him team up with others. He already had to share the screen with other heroes in this film. I don’t want it to happen again but on a larger scale. Make a true Superman 2 first please

I don’t get why some comic book fans think the only way you can critique anything from a superhero film is by reading the comics. By their logic the majority of the audience are not allowed to comment on any of the CBM’s they watch, even though without them the films would fail.
