Earlier today, Our Past Initiative, in collaboration with Jibu Rwanda, visited Ntarama Genocide Memorial to reflect on the history and honor the memory of the victims in that community. With the generous support of Jibu Rwanda, 68 livestock were donated to 34 families of Genocide


In memory. In truth. In unity. This 4th of May in Paris, we come together, not just to remember, but to affirm: we will not forget. Our Past Initiative joins forces with Ibuka France , La CRF , 🇷🇼Rwanda en France🇨🇵 , and Mémorial de la Shoah to honor the victims of the 1994



Christian Intwari survived the Genocide against the Tutsi as a young child, but the aftermath left him with many questions unanswered which inspired him to create Our Past Initiative , which now plays a key role in fostering unity,healing and resilience among Rwandans. #kwibuka31



Yesterday afternoon, alongside Inkomoko Rwanda, Our Past Initiative visited the Nyamata Genocide Memorial, taking time to honor the lives lost and the strength of the survivors. We listened to the testimonies of survivors, and reflected on the history of the community drawing

While in Rome at the TOR VERGATA UNIVERSITY OF ROME this morning, Malaika Uwamahoro performed Rhymes of Remembrance, a moving piece with poetry, dance, and theatre that honored the memory of the past while inspiring reflection and resilience. #Kwibuka31 #OurPast25
