I was able to coach a bunch of guys who competed so hard for one another throughout a long postseason run. They were able to elevate their level of play, especially when our backs were against the wall. What more could you ask for as a coach? #AmericanLegionWorldSeries

To play with such high expectations all season is no easy task. They answered the bell every step of the way. These boys competed and raised their level of play with their backs against the wall. I would go war with any one of those guys. We truly lived the tradition.

I want to thank my players for their dedication and effort they have given Post 2, the coaches, and each other. I am blessed to have been your coach. I know it didn’t end on the field but you represented Fargo and North Dakota well. Thanks for everything.

Congrats to Sam Ovsak and Adam Leininger on their All-ALWS team selections. Ovsak also received the American Legion Big Stick Award and American Legion Slugger Trophy. Sam hit .528 with 14 1B, 5 2B, 8 RBI, and 16 Runs over the 9 game stretch.
