Excellent open access paper on anticoagulation after ICH in AF patients. Largely confirms what we already knew about the balance of risks (repeat haemorrhage vs ischaemic events) in these patients. As always this needs to be presented to the patients when making recommendations.

Today. we're remembering the wonderful and incredible actor Paul Ritter. From the powerful Chernobyl to the simply brilliant Martin Goodman in Friday Night Dinner and countless stage and screen performances. Never forgotten.

From my first nights as a junior doctor in Royal Cornwall to a substantive Consultant Neurosurgeon post in OUH —what a journey. Grateful beyond words to my family, the Oxford Neurosurgery & NF2 teams, and my mentor Sanjeeva Jeyaretna for their unwavering support.

A great course covering the workhorse approaches for skull base and neurovascular surgery. Amazing to hear the experience of Prof Tatagiba with >2000 #vestibularschwannoma operations and the faculty on complex vascular cases. Great discussions sharing the #Oxford experience.

It was an honour to contribute to SBNS ST6 bootcamp last week led by Sanjeeva Jeyaretna. I hope the lab application of more advanced approaches for vascular indications was of interest. I even found time to learn more about connectomic surgery as a student myself. Congrats all.

A lot of food for thought from Ian Dunn on making lasting change. Not dissimilar to what some of us are trying to achieve with promoting #microsurgery in the UK
