A useful day and lovely to all be together. Helpful to reflect on a busy and productive 12 months. Thanks Chris and team for leading it. Bring on 2024!

Great day with our fabulous @oxleas nurse and psychologist RC colleagues. Thanks to the amazing Julie Onyegbula for organising, to Abimbola Fadipe for supporting the development of these roles (and to Derek Tracy for his legacy).

Psychological Therapies awayday Goldsmiths, University of London today. Excellent contrasting talks and lots of useful thoughts about how much we can retain our values and professional identity despite such expansion. Great to come together & to see so many southwest colleagues attend

Hear from London's first MPAC nurse, Julie Onyegbula - as she tells us what's so special about the job. We have the most established MPAC career pathway in London. "It's the pinnacle of clinical mental health nursing." #GreatPlaceToWork oxleas.nhs.uk/a-great-place-… Abimbola Fadipe

We are super late sharing our June monthly meeting highlights but here it is! In short, we have been talking about being working class in psychology on TikTok, at a conference, in blog posts, on podcasts and through our social media accounts. #ClassClinPsych

Deaths following release are quick (50% within 4 days) and predominantly drug related (72%). 32% of deaths within 2 weeks were in those released homeless. There is clear evidence of what we need to be doing better.
