So proud of this group and appreciate their many efforts to improve research practices!! Penn Center for Health Incentives+Behavioral Econ PAIR Center

Today, we salute Morgan Lloyd and the African American Museum in Philadelphia @aampmuseum. As a museum educator, Ms. Lloyd improves health equity by helping others to understand the Black experience in society overall, and by promoting anti-racism. aampmuseum.org

Saluting our own Christopher Chesley for his research and continuing advocacy for health equity, especially, helping to lead the White Coats for Black Lives demonstration at Penn. According to Scott Halpern, "Dr. Chesley represents the change our field needs."

Big thanks to Mastery Schools for allowing the PAIR family to support the tremendous work you are doing. As the saying goes, team work makes the dream work! We appreciated helping to organize your storage room for books. Special shout out to Audrey, our junior PAIR staffer! :)

Acknowledging again Mastery Schools and the fantastic work they are doing to improve education, a known social determinant of health. We especially want to salute Marvin Lovell, a fantastic advisor and partner to PAIR faculty member, Joanna Hart, and team.

PAIR faculty member George L. Anesi and team recently published a paper on hospital stress in Critical Care Medicine. Surprisingly, during the COVID-19 pandemic perceived hospital stress persisted for weeks after surges in cases peaked. Read more here: journals.lww.com/ccmjournal/Ful…

"Accurate, objective triage guidelines are essential...understanding who benefits from ICU admissions and why." Learn more in a new editorial on the contributions made by George L. Anesi, Scott Halpern and others on the PAIR ICU Net Benefits project. Out now in Annals ATS.

Closing out the week with important new health equity research from PAIR faculty Gary Weissman, Scott Halpern, and Dr. Alex Moffett. Happy weekend! penntoday.upenn.edu/news/penn-ldi-…
