Brilliant to see such numbers out yesterday for protest about conditions in DCC public housing. Individual campaigns have been organising for months from Ballymun to Cromcastle Court with CATU Ireland but as Bernie Whelan said in her speech - 'we're stronger together'.

This organising work by CATU Ireland is not just about housing, it also counters the growth of anti-migrant sentiment and the far-right. So many social problems are due to state abandonment and they need to be countered by universal demands for public services, including housing.
