Dr. Anne founded HAU a pioneer hospice in Uganda, from where we generated our motivation. She is a founding member of Palliative Care Association of Uganda (PCAU), which has grown to 30 member organizations, over 1600 individuals, 50 of whom are life members, and has a presence in all 146 districts in Uganda.

Earlier this morning, at FairWay Hotel in Kampala, Palliative Care Association of Uganda (PCAU) held their 26th Annual General Meeting, it began with a memorable remembrance of Dr Ann Merie the founder of Palliative Care Association of Uganda (PCAU) Hospice Africa Ug in Uganda and Africa many years back. She died with a legacy, of NO patient
