🏉 Year 9 boys rugby 🏉 Amazing result this evening for the year 9 rugby team in the semi final of the county cup against KES Lichfield. Proud of the squad to reach a final after a successful season!

Who’s excited for skiing? ⛷️

The bus is all loaded up, with students prepared to hit the slopes early this morning after a good night sleep! ⛷️

Ski Trip ⛷️ Excellent ski day again. Students have embraced the 6.15am wake up each morning. All groups are progressing well with their skiing, making excellent memories on the trip!

Tuesday’s Apres ski activity Students are enjoying a local billiards hall to relax after a busy day of skiing

Ski trip - day 3 ⛷️ Another brilliant day in the slopes! Followed by pizza, chips and a treat of ice cream for desert!

Ski trip - day 4 Tough conditions in the slopes meant the lifts weren’t open this morning. This didn’t stop the students though who had the chance to try new ski skills and have some fun! Students did get on the slopes this afternoon.

The night was finished off with a sing song and dancing at the disco.

Ski Trip - Friday What a week! Students have been superb throughout the week. We were lucky to finish the skiing week in fresh snowy conditions. Students were excellent in tidying their rooms and being organised to allow us to start our journey back to the uk!

Ski Trip ETA back at JTHS around 11.30. This is earlier than expected due to an earlier ferry. Please be mindful the school gates may not be open, please be considerate around the village and don’t block the entrance. If the gates are open please park down the side of school.

Ten schools competed today at the u13 & u15 boys county finals. A closely fought day with great cricket on show from all teams. Congratulations to Aldridge (u13) and Painsley (u15) for winning. John Taylor High finished as runners up in the u13 and u15 competitions 🏏
