A dramatic renewal of the East Anglian Open at the superb Ingrebourne Links sees Sam Forgan defend his title after prevailing at the 3rd playoff hole. But that wasn't the half of it..runner-up Glen Portelli suffered the frustration of a major lipout from 28-foot at the last!

Closing in! Sam Forgan took a giant stride towards clinching the East's 2024 Order of Merit crown with superb 66 (-6) at The Shire London on the opening day of the concluding event. Sam, who already tops the pile, holds a 1-stroke lead over Kishen Velani ahead of day 2.

It's a first East region Order of Merit crown for Sam Forgan - and quite the way to do it...he follows up his East Anglian Open win with a 2-shot success at The Shire London in the final OOM of 2024...congrats Sam on a brilliant year!
