Seeing a lot of pythium blight in the region with the high night temps and humidity. Particularly where water sits from recent rain. Phosphites ok most years for New England but this stretch of weather is calling for true pythium fungicides.

Few individuals have had such a profound and lasting impact on our great industry. The company and culture that Mr. Harrell successfully crafted is one that should be studied and emulated. Grateful to be a small part of that vision and legacy. May he rest in peace.

Unfortunately there is isolated but severe winterkill at some golf courses in Michigan. Appears to be primarily in low areas where ice was estimated to be in place for 5 weeks. Warm temperatures next week will help assess the extent of damage and recovery. #WinterTurf
