Checked in on the status of then KHL pending free agent Maxim Shabanov back in January. Was told Flyers were a favorite. Although it’s not done yet, seems like the Flyers will be landing the 24 year-old Russian. Shabanov was 3rd in the KHL in scoring this season with 23G 44A
