#Sikkim_Landslide, Teesta Vehicle Incident & Tourist Evacuation Update (29 May – 3 June 2025) On the night of 29/30 May, a tourist vehicle with 11 people fell into the Teesta River on the Chunthang-Munshithang route, North Sikkim.

🔸On 2 June, another NDRF team evacuated 54 stranded persons from Rabom Chu Power Project after heavy rains and landslides. ⛰️Continuous rains caused landslides and road damage in Mangan, especially between Chungthang and Lachen, stranding around 125 tourists.
