On August 20, 2023, I revisited the village Dihiri on the bank of the wild river ‘Jiadhal’ in Dhemaji District, Assam. Interacted with the villagers with whose support we launched the ‘Community-Based Flood Early Warning System(CB-FEWS) back in 2010 in collaboration with ICIMOD.
