Chief Minister’s Climate Resilient Village Fellowship Program, Government of Assam: Interacting with the first batch of the fellows during the Field Orientation Program at Kohora near the Kaziranga National Park on July 16 2023 as a member of the Advisory and Mentoring Committee.

On August 20, 2023, I revisited the village Dihiri on the bank of the wild river ‘Jiadhal’ in Dhemaji District, Assam. Interacted with the villagers with whose support we launched the ‘Community-Based Flood Early Warning System(CB-FEWS) back in 2010 in collaboration with ICIMOD.

A ‘District Level Stakeholder Consultation on Integrated Management’ of #Doloni #Beel was organised at DC Office, Bongaigaon, attended by 54 participants consisting of mainly government officials from relevant line depts, representatives of communities, and local educationists.
