Just imagine not being constrained by the availability of digital ECG data to develop, validate and distribute powerful AI algorithms that go beyond human interpretation! Here is the PMcardio App interpretation of LV function from this ECG recorded in 1965!

đŸ«€ Announcing the AI #ECG TIMI study: the first study to record 12-lead ECGs during invasive coronary angiography in all-comer ACS patients, aiming to uncover the dynamic ECG patterns and the corresponding pathophysiology of culprit vessels!

After starting patient enrollment in December, the AI ECG TIMI study–first study to investigate continuous 12-lead ECGs during acute MI in the cathlab–design and rationale have been published in #JSCAI special issue on AI for coronary interventions!

Do you know this highly specific STEMI equivalent #ECG pattern? Unfortunately, this OM1 culprit posterior MI was not missed (time to PCI 12 hours). LVEF at discharge was de-novo reduced at 45%. Here is how AI ECG over-read in the ED could've helped.

You would expect international STEMI registries to drive quality improvement. Unfortunately, incorporation bias leads many to mistakenly believe STEMI is a solved problem—yet patients who are missed never even make it into these registries! Great editorial on this topic by

VERDICT, TIMACS, etc. deserve a redo—with frontline AI ECG screening. Most patients had Type 2 MI or non-obstructive CAD, not fixable by primary PCI. Time to use available tools to screen those who are likely to benefit! DM me if you are a trialist and want to talk more.

We're teaming up with UniversitĂ€tsklinikum Heidelberg for a live #ECG quiz at the DGK Congress in Germany: Test the Cardiologists Against AI. Find us at booth 046 to see how #AI supports cardiac diagnostics—and take on the challenge yourself! Special thanks to Dr Amr & #UKHD for the collaboration.

70-year-old female patient presents with chest pain and this #ECG. ER letter reads: "No signs of acute ischemia, ST depression V3-V4" Do you agree?
