Excited to start as an Early Career Research Fellow Orthopaedic Research UK this year hosted by James Phillips PNIRU UCL School of Pharmacy. The position comes with ÂŁ110k to develop a new imaging based approach to measure muscle recovery following nerve injury.

Here we used Motor Unit Number Estimation (MUNE) to show PI3Ka accelerates nerve regeneration. This is part of a wider effort developing MUNE (and other biomarkers) to facilitate clinical translation of therapies developed in the lab. James Phillips PNIRU
