We have options to reduce the prison population by funding public services properly. There has to be the will from Government to spend our taxes more wisely. 👇

If we provide enough education/ vocational spaces in our jails that allow prisoners to access full time employment they at least have a chance to reform and we have a chance to do our job. We will never rehabilitate anyone in violent chaotic dilapidated prisons.

We need activity spaces for every prisoner. We need proper protection for staff. We need consequences for violent behaviour.
