1/2 @CRUK are looking for 5 parents of children affected by cancer to take part in a 2 hour focus group to help shape the design of a new clinical trial.  If you’re interested, please contact [email protected] directly.

2/2 The trial aims to find out if drugs approved for use in some types of cancer (AKA licensed), have an effect in other types of cancer. This will provide access to potentially beneficial drugs to a group of patients who may have otherwise run out of treatment options. Thanks

1/4 Thrilled to be part of this UCL project ChromaDose. This will aid more precise drug dosing in children with cancer. Kids receiving chemotherapy process the drugs differently, leading to inconsistencies in drug concentrations in the blood (this drug exposure). ChromaDose

3/4 ChromaDose enables clinicians to calculate the patient’s drug exposure. Nurses giving the chemo would collect a few drops of blood at different times following administration. These samples are then inserted into the ChromaDose bedside device. ChromaDose

We are trying to reach out to offer this study to a small, but really important group of folk whose lives have been affected by rhabdomyosarcoma. All #sarcoma are uncommon and those in children more so. Can you RT just in case someone who follows you might be able to take part?
