Last Friday, August 15th, was the final day of employment for our Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) employees. To celebrate all their hard work, we had a little pizza party. We are very grateful for the Canada Summer Jobs program and are happy to share that some employees are staying on!

September 30th marks the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation (#OrangeShirtDay). It is a day to honour survivors of residential schools, remember the children who never returned home, and reflect on the ongoing impacts of colonialism on Indigenous Peoples of Canada.

Today is a day of recognition, remembrance, and collective action. According to the UN, every 10 minutes a woman is killed by an intimate partner or family member. Violence against women remains one of the most pervasive human rights violations globally, and it must end.
