Shoutout to the AMAZING Alexandra Yannarella for always making us feel appreciated and going all out to make every event special! This was the perfect touch to our staff tailgate lunch🏈🥨🍿
We had a blast reading across the world at @PSDGrasse 🌎📚 from a drop everything and read in the Great Barrier Reef, to Zumba brain breaks in Africa, we had such a fun-filled week thanks to Kim Mulloy and Alexandra Yannarella 💛
Baseball Multiplication…Fightin’ Phils edition⚾️ Today, we had some fun with the Everyday Math game “Baseball Multiplication.” We made it Philadelphia Phillies themed with our game pieces and games mats. It was a home run for engagement!!!🏟️ @PSDGrasse
Major sciencing happening this morning🔍 It’s about to be chrysalis season and 3rd graders are recording their last few observations of their caterpillars before they start to transform🐛🦋 Erin Reichert @PSDGrasse
Science got hands on today as we explored animal adaptations🦆🦜@PSDGrasse 3rd graders got to test different “beaks” to see which was more efficient for gathering food and which was more precise. Thank you Erin Reichert for always making “sciencing” a blast😁
We love when Erin Reichert visits our classroom, especially for science!! Today, these third graders learned about the different phases of the moon and created a diagram to keep in their science notebooks for future reference! 📓🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘
More moon fun with Erin Reichert!!! This Halloween🎃 morning, third graders did a moon phases project with Oreos. We used toothpicks as tools to carve out the cream as needed to show all of the phases of the moon🌙 #scienceisfun
Today we used Mystery Science to begin our lesson on gravity!! We collected data on how high we can jump on Earth. Tomorrow we will graph our data and calculate out how high we’d be able to jump on the moon, Mars, Neptune and other places in our solar system! Thanks Sabrina Sieverts!
