There aren't many tournament reports being written nowadays, this was a very good read!

The new patch should be up! There are two new champs (Jhin Constellation + brand new Akshan) and a new event where you can Draft your starting deck from scratch! People have been asking for a draft mode forever and I'm very happy we managed to get that in the game 🥰

Packing my MTG stuff for my PT Final Fantasy trip - I feel like an old Samurai taking a rusty katana and an old suit of armor from the mantel to fight in a new war after 30 years

Had a great time testing with Team Cosmos Heavy Play for #PTFIN ! Playing a deck labeled “other” for maybe the first time in my life? So we’ll see how things go, but excited to be competing again!

UR cauldron mirror in the finals 🥰

Went 8-1 in constructed with my Izzet Cauldron brew! Only lost 3 games in constructed (unfortunately 2 to the same person). First time I ever play my own brew like this in a PT, so I’m super glad it paid off!

I wrote a deck guide for the UR Cauldron deck I played at the PT! You can purchase it on mfy.gg/guides/view/ur… It includes card explanations, how to play the deck and a SB guide for the most popular matchups. I think the deck is great now and will become even better post-bans!

Interesting bans, even more stuff than I expected. I dislike that lots of decks are catching strays (like, did we really need to kill BG or UG Beanstalk?) but WOTC knows what's in the next set and I don't so if they feel Std will be more fun with these bans I can get behind that

Added a small chapter about what I think will be popular post-bans and how that impacts UR Cauldron. All the top decks in the format got hurt and Cauldron went completely untouched, so I definitely believe this will be a tier1 deck moving forward! metafy.gg/guides/view/ur…

I promise the Cauldron advertisement is going to stop soon 😂 but someone compiled all the matches at GP Chiba and UR Cauldron had BY FAR the best winrate! It also didn't lose anything in the bans, so you really should be paying this deck some attention

Team Worldly Counsel consistently has the best or one of the best limited records among all teams in PTs, so anyone who's looking to improve their limited testing process should take a look at this!
