Works Department, Odisha team inspected electrical infrastructure & gas pipeline details for Liquid Medical Oxygen plant at Santha Bhima Bhoi Medical College & Hospital and District Headquarter Hospital, Balangir @BalangirBbmch.

Roof slab casting of Staff Quarters at 100-seated Government Medical College & Hospital, Bhawanipatna has commenced by PWD Kalahandi. The college will also provide facilities like hostels, auditoriums & academic blocks. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2021.

Works Department, Odisha officials inspected the foundation work of Regional College of Management, Khalikote. The project comes under World Bank supported Odisha Higher Education Programme for Education & Equity (OHEPEE) projects. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2021.

Er Gouranga Sahu, Chief Engineer, Buildings reviewed the progress of the ongoing foundation work by PWD Koraput for a 650 bedded teaching hospital at Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College & Hospital, Koraput under MoSarkar 5T. Work is being expedited to complete by August 2023.

Er Ashok Kumar Giri, Addl. Chief Engineer (Eastern Circle), Balasore & Works Department, Odisha team reviewed construction quality & grading of Wet Mix Macadam for Jamujhadi-Basudevpur-Dhamra Project. Widening of existing carriageway to a 2-lane road is expected to be completed by early 2022.

The longest bridge in Odisha over river Mahanadi connecting Gopinathpur-Baideshwar in Cuttack District is getting ready. Today @Krishan_Kumar09, Secretary, Works Department, Odisha, along with senior officers, visited the site and reviewed its progress. The length of the bridge is over 3 Km.
