The encampment at Trinity has achieved unprecedented success. TCD has agreed to fully divest from Israel in a process that has already started and will be overseen by representatives of the TCD BDS committee and TCDSU.

However, our work is not done. The disciplinary proceedings against union leaders and the €214,000 fine against the SU for peaceful protest are still standing. We stand by our right to peacefully and freely protest

Despite promising a stipend increase to €25,000 per annum for SEAI funded researchers, members in Maynooth University UCC Ireland Ollscoil na Gaillimhe | University of Galway and Trinity College Dublin have yet to receive this. All such pay disparities and underfunding of PhD researchers must end. #PGRsDeserveBetter (1/2)
