Yesterday Dr Helen Cartner 💙 & Claire McGrogan presented RIICE project to the Northumbria Psy Health & Behaviour Change Research Group. Thank you to everyone who attended for the interesting discussions 😊 #Health #RemoteCare #ChewingResearch

Always great to see PaCT research being shared with the wider Northumbria Psy department 😊👏🏼

PaCT member, Claire Murphy Morgan (Senior RA RHED-C) will be joining the panel discussion tonight at the artED event (organised by Helen Shaddock) 🎉 The panel will be discussing “Joined-up thinking: writing, recovery, art” in relation to eating disorders. Check it out ⬇️

PaCT Lab research being showcased at the EPSRC Digital Health Policy Event at the Institute for Healthcare Engineering in London yesterday ✨👏🏼 Northumbria Psy Northumbria Uni Dr Helen Cartner 💙

It has been an honour & pleasure to Chair the BPS Cyberpsychology Section (BPS Cyberpsychology) for the last 3yrs. This is a wonderful opportunity to lead an exciting section within an increasingly influential discipline. Working with a great committee too. Feel free to DM questions!

Great talk by Neil Kirk at today’s Northumbria Psy seminar (thanks to Glenn Williams for arranging). Neil was talking about cognitive biases in voice perception, including in categorising AI vs human voices 👏🏼 (PaCT Lab & BPS Cyberpsychology groups may be interested in Neil’s work)

Heading back from a truly wonderful evening with PaCT Lab friends at this artED event. Such a privilege to hear Helen Shaddock & Dave Chawner sharing their honest & humorous insights around eating distress. Phenomenal - thank you both (& to everyone involved in organising) ✨

✨ Check out this video from the Medical Research Foundation w/ Dr Dawn Branley-Bell (find me on 🦋) talking about one of the projects in PaCT lab. RHED-C has been co-developing resources to help individuals & healthcare providers to get the most out of their online support sessions for eating disorders ✨

Thrilled to share that I passed my PhD viva with no corrections! Huge thanks to my examiners Sarah Hetrick Laura K Taylor 💙💛 brendan rooney, my supervisor Amanda Fitzgerald, and JigsawYMH for their support. My youth mental health research is deeply personal, and I hope it fuels change.

📢 Today at London Eating Disorders Conference 📢 Claire Murphy Morgan will be presenting our 'ConnectED on the Journey' tookit. A co-designed online resource to support anyone receiving, or providing, remote support for eating disorders. 11am, Mountbatten room. #LEDC2025 #LEDC25 rhedc.uk/toolkit

You can catch our lab director speaking about how AI can be used to enhance and support research at the Times Higher Education Digital Universities UK event tomorrow at Lancaster University ⬇️

Dawn's talk today at Times Higher Education #THEdigitalUK included examples of innovative, good practice by researchers within PaCT Lab. She also discussed findings from recent work with PaCT colleagues Dr Richard Brown & Liz Sillence around academic & student attitudes towards AI 💡
