Officially Dr Pakamore! Many thanks to Prof Ross Forgan for all support and guidance! As well, Kim Jelfs and Mark Murrie for an amazing viva experience!
2019 vs 2022. We were PhD students and now we're Dr, Dr, Dr & Dr! Couldn't have made it through without the gang 🥰 IGNAS PAKAMORĖ Dr Cat Walshe
How does selection work on a chemical level? Check out my #RSCPoster "Investigation of selection in mineral environments" #RSCChemBio #RSCDigital Royal Society of Chemistry CroninLab Prof. Lee Cronin Hessam Mehr Robert Pow UofGARC University of Glasgow Chemistry OoLEN #OoL #minerals #RealTimeChem

New paper just accepted in Chemical Communications, we develop simple modulated routes (HF free) to new MIL-53(Cr) MOFs that show stepwise SO2 uptake and sensing. Led by Dominic Bara in collaboration with Ilich A. Ibarra. Funded by European Research Council (ERC). doi.org/10.1039/D3CC01…
Fantastic work by my Microsoft Research AI4Science colleagues. #GenerativeAI for Materials is going to be a gamechanger, and this is only the beginning.
Latest preprint is a project led by IGNAS PAKAMORĖ who wrote software for sampling reaction parameter space during COVID lockdown, then came back to the lab to use it to examine effects of variables (MOF modulators) on hydrolysis of DMF to formic acid: doi.org/10.26434/chemr…
We'll soon be recruiting a 3 yr postdoc position on applying electron diffraction to the crystal sponge method in collaboration with Simon Coles🇪🇺🇬🇧. Ideal candidate will have significant crystallographic and MOF synthesis skills and experience. Informal inquiries by email for now.
