UN Charter is our collective moral compass & a foundational pillar of int'l peace, justice & cooperation. The Charter’s principles—sovereign equality, non-use of force, respect for human rights & peaceful settlement of disputes—remain as valid today as they were at San Francisco.

Yesterday the UK and Permanent Mission of Pakistan to the UN hosted a cricket match at the UN. The UK's Ambassador James Kariuki and Pakistan's Asim Iftikhar Ahmad captained teams with players from across the UN — it was a close match!
