Today, on June 17, 2025, in the spirit of continuing the tradition of sharing Eid festivities, the Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning (PILL), through its SBA Center, organized an introductory session at NORIN Cancer Hospital, Nawabshah.

PILL, in collaboration with the Department of Applied Psychology UMT, successfully hosted an enlightening session on the Neurobiological Model of Addiction with esteemed speaker Dr. Mashal Khan.

UMT's Provost, Dr. Asghar Zaidi, and Acting Dean of School of Professional Psychology, Dr. Haziq Mehmood, met with PILL's Senior Consultant, Dr. Noor Ul Zaman, and Assistant Director, Uzma Omer.

PILL conducted its first community awareness and outreach session under the Defeat Cancer Campaign in Village Chowki Drab. A total of 76 community members (51 females and 25 males) participated in the session focused on breast cancer awareness, early detection & prevention.

Under the auspices of the District Health Office Islamabad, a two-day training session was held on June 27–28, 2025, titled "Two-Day Train the Trainer Session on Guided Self-Help Intervention Called Mrs. Khushi and Khatoon."

Dr. Amna Noureen and Muqaddas Asif visited York University's Department of Health Sciences from June 30 to July 2nd 2025. During their visit, they had productive meetings with Prof. Najma Siddique, Prof. Kamran, and the wider SCIMITAR-SA team.

Ms Muqadas Asif and Dr Amna Noureen from Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning visited the Clinical Trials Unit at the University of York. Shannon Halmkan, a Trainee Statistician, provided a comprehensive briefing and arranged meetings with the entire team.
