Getting paid to get vaccinated. I'm surprised both that they used incentives this large ($1,000-$2,000), and vaccine uptake rate only increased by 8%. As vaccine availability increases, there is so much education that still needs to occur to reduce disparities.

I'll wear a mask in the ER all winter, as well as with any infectious-type patients, and expect them to wear one as well. And I'll probably mask in public places during the winter months as well. Never realized getting sick multiple times per year wasn't just "part of the job."
